Cardboard Spool Inserts - Stackable
prusaprinters
A remix of @Ben's cardboard spool insert. This is a stackable version so I can print these faster on my small bed printer for all my rolls of filament. My 120mm bed could only fit 2 of these, now I can stack vertically! Mostly, this was just an excuse to try stackable prints.Important Note!On stock Prusa Mini profiles, it will likely be faster to print the original design (5 fit with “fill bed feature”). Only use this if you want more volume on a single print bed!Remix ChangesI made the below updates to make this print more reliably when stackedremoved filet on top inside edgeextended depth of the lip to enable a <45 degree chamferTrade-off here is that the extended lip makes the spool effectively a little wider than the original design. I imagine could cause some fit issues on spool holders that are already a tight fit.Print Instructionssee 3dPrintingNerd's youtube on setting up prints for stacking in PrusaSlicer.Stacking offset: 0.2Layer height: 0.2Nozzle: 0.4Material: probably anything, I used ASA because it was in the printer
