I like to make use of what I have available, and what I have is a lot of “Smile Boxes”…

I did find other designs for cardboard box reinforcing corners but they all had a rather plain design. I decided to make some that had a bit of a decorative look. Can't go storing my gold doubloons in some ordinary box.

These are currently sized for a typical 3mm thick single wall shipping box. The top flaps do need to be cut off with a razor. They do fit on all corners of these boxes. It is a bit hard to get on the corner with the glue seam but it does work.

There is one version of the name plate that has a slot for a 2 inch by 1 inch paper card to use as a label. The other one is flat so a sticker can be applied.

They printed easily without supports. The nameplate with the label window does have some overhang but it printed perfectly.

Designed in OnShape.

9/1/22: Added 4 versions of corners with a large nameplate for the left or right side of the box. With and without a pocket for a label tag.
