Cardboard building clips Rev 2
thingiverse
These 3D printable clips include 'L', 'T', and 'X' types. The 'L' clips are for corner connections, 'T' clips for two walls and a perpendicular wall, while 'X' clips are for four-way connections. Designed to be attached to cardboard edges, they create box-like structures. Created using TruSpace 3.2, these clips work best with cardboard thickness similar to writing pad stock. However, you can adjust their size as needed for thinner or thicker cards. The smaller STL file 'clip4x2' produces 4 'L' and 2 'T' clips, while 'clip40x20' yields 40 'L' and 20 'T' clips. Additionally, 'clip6x.cob' contains 6 'X'-style clips. These clips print best without a raft and don't require support. The generated G-code is for a single extruder replicator created with ReplicatorG. Note that slicing the 'clip40x20' took longer but printed successfully.
