Cardboard Brick to make a Roman Arch
thingiverse
A brick-shaped net crafted from 3mm cardboard is foldable; designed for the largest Epilog Laser bed's brick size. Nine of these bricks form a Roman arch, used in sixth-grade history to introduce Roman architecture. Tape isn't necessary for assembling them, useful for students' archaeological dig activities. For an educational activity, print around 100 bricks and scatter with large 3D artifacts like Hadrian's Bust, a Roman Torso, a relief, Egyptian artifacts, and bones. Students then identify the structure and justify their conclusions through research. Alternatively, students can build arches together, later collaborating to construct more complex objects using multiple arches, such as aqueducts or domes.
