Cardboard Box Corner Joint

I designed this corner piece specifically for closing off boxes in display cases. Each piece is 40mm in every direction and can be used with corrugated cardboard up to about 5mm thick. Since cardboard has some give, thickness isn't as crucial as long as it's not double-walled - that would make it too thick. The friction from the cardboard usually provides enough hold to keep the box closed, but if needed, a small amount of Uhu or white glue will seal the deal. A separate file includes a smaller version, measuring 25mm on the sides and 40mm tall.
