I designed Box to explore the impact of textures on a 3D model, even when working with a simple cube. By transforming this basic shape into something more complex, I aimed to highlight the significance of textures in elevating visual interest. It took me approximately three to four hours to craft the texture and material. The final result showcases my ability to bring complexity to a straightforward mesh using Blender's capabilities. Box features a low-poly mesh created within Blender, while the textures were developed from scratch using GIMP. This approach allowed me to exercise my creative control over every aspect of the design. The texture size is an impressive 4096x4096 pixels, demonstrating my attention to detail and commitment to high-quality visuals. Check out more of my work on Recharge Games Studio's YouTube channel.
