I began noticing a slight wobble in my prints, so I set out to find a solution. After some searching, I came across the double cardanic joint created by BoilerPlateDan on Thingiverse, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:42550, but it was too large for my Anycubic I3 Mega. To make it work with my printer, I resized and modified the design. Like BoilerPlateDan, I decided to share the SolidWorks files so others could benefit from my modifications. After a bit of post-printing fine-tuning, I discovered that my solution was extremely effective, reducing wobbling almost entirely. I added a small hole to the 5mm end and installed a screw to better secure the motor axis. You can see this modification in the photo with the long screws – I used old ones that I trimmed to size. In the final photo, you'll notice the calibration cube before and after the hack: on the left, wobbling is barely visible.
