Card Index Box (Karteikasten)

Card Index Box (Karteikasten)

thingiverse

These boxes are designed for learning and office use. The larger one holds A7-format cards (10.5 cm x 7.4 cm) and the smaller one holds A6-format cards, which will slightly bend to prevent easy removal. The boxes slide into each other and can be stacked in any order. There's a lid that fits onto the top box. To avoid warping, print the boxes with a raft, but this does not apply to the lid. To use the boxes for learning: write questions on the front of each card and answers on the back. Place the large box so its longest edge is perpendicular to your shoulders. Insert all cards into the slot closest to you. Remove them one by one; if you know the correct answer, move it up a slot. If not, leave it or move it down. Repeat daily until all cards are in the furthest slot from you - congratulations, you've learned all answers! Notes go in the smaller box. Take an A4 or US-Letter sheet of paper and fold it four times. Files included: - karteikasten-deckel.obj: Lid - karteikasten-kaestchen.obj: Small Box - karteikasten-kasten.obj: Large Box
