Card Holder Wallet
thingiverse
This is a card holder wallet inspired by the popular Secrid wallet, capable of holding 6 cards and featuring a spring-loaded return lever. You WILL need felt strips to make this work effectively. I cut some strips from felt pads designed for furniture feet. You will have to experiment with the felt to find the correct tension. Felt strips should be approximately 25-30mm long. The thickness of the felt may vary, so you might need to shave about half the thickness off your furniture felt pads to get it right. Assembly is straightforward. Ensure that the lever rotates easily on its axis; if it's too tight, enlarge the hole. I designed this for use with a small tension spring, but it's not essential. The spring can be obtained from a local hardware store - look for a pack of Handyman Springs and select the smallest tension spring in the kit. You'll need to cut one of the loops off the end of the spring and bend a new loop upwards in the opposite direction. Refer to the picture of the spring lever mechanism for guidance on how the spring should be configured. The bottom piece fits snugly into the case, so be prepared to put it in place once; removing it afterwards can be challenging.
