Card Holder
thingiverse
This conceptual design was born from analyzing the shortcomings of conventional "phone wallets". For those unfamiliar with attachable phone wallets, they're essentially a low-cost plastic-woven fabric that spans just a few inches longer than a standard debit/credit card. The holder is secured to a heavy-duty adhesive strip, aiming to simplify daily life and keep essential cards within easy reach. However, I've found that these items typically last only six months or less and can't be detached in emergency situations. To address this issue, I propose introducing a circular joint on the back of the wallet, allowing two interlocking circles to snap together for effortless breakaway in case of an emergency. Additionally, I would integrate RFID-blocking technologies post-production to safeguard cards both virtually and physically. As a newcomer to this design realm, please be patient with my ideas.
