Card Guard

Card Guard

pinshape

This is a custom card guard designed specifically for bicycle cards, tally ho cards, and similar playing cards. If you use Simplify 3D, you can easily adjust it to fit any standard card case. Watch the entire printing process below: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QwwC2_XA-c The printer used is a modified Rostock model, which offers flexibility in terms of print settings. For this particular project, rafts are not necessary, and supports are also unnecessary. The recommended resolution for optimal results is 0.3 mm, although you can experiment with lower resolutions if desired. When it comes to infill density, the options range from 10-20% or every layer at 100%. Ultimately, the choice depends on your personal preference. This model was printed in ABS plastic using a hotend temperature of 265 degrees Celsius and a heatbed temperature of 110 degrees Celsius. This specific combination helps prevent cracking in the ABS material. To ensure a smooth print, make sure to use a larger brim to prevent material curling during the bottom layer's printing process.
