# Card Game Keeper Card deck holder and tray for card games such as Uno and Monopoly Deal. Planning on adding variations for other games soon too. > Note: This seems to fit all current versions of Uno and similar sized decks, however it doesn't fit my truly original deck from 40-50 years ago which is 2mm wider in both directions. I also have a deck that got wet and swelled slightly so it doesn't fit in these either as the clips won't close fully. I'm planning on adding some variations to account for these different sizes. I have several different versions of both of these games, and I wanted a way to store them individually that would also give me a deck tray to keep them neat while playing. Makes them perfect for travel too! The wide window in both sides makes it easy to see which game is inside without needing a custom label, plus saves on filament and print time. Rounded edges make it easy to grab even the last card in the pile. The bottom is best used as the draw deck, and the top is best as the discard deck. This is due to the clips on the arms. You'll notice that the top is much easier to drop a card into than to pull one out of. They snap together snug and are quite secure. I walked around Universal Studios a full day with one of these in my backpack and the case stayed together and safe all day. To separate the top and bottom, just pull the two halves directly apart. Don't try to bend the sides or anything. I find it easiest to hold it in my hands with my fingers on the clips on the bottom side and push my thumbs on top into the cards or the corners. Supports are required. I find in Cura, the top does best with normal zig zag supports, and the bottom did well with gyroid mode for me. The zig zag mode worked poorly on the curves. I suggest printing the two halves separately. Maybe it's just my printer but for me the print consistently failed when trying to print both together, but prints perfectly every time I print them separately. I uploaded separately and together for anyone who wants to try. I designed this using Shapr3D on my iPad Air, so I uploaded the .shapr as well as the .step file. I encourage you to remix this if you have any improvement ideas. Just be sure to credit the original design please.
