I was searching for a card holder that could securely store three cards: a badge, metro pass, and credit card. With an easy-to-use sliding side design, I came across this 3D printed design on Pinshape: https://pinshape.com/items/15687-3d-printed-credit-card-holder-with-sliding-mechanism I was impressed by the similar sliding shape and its functionality. Since we share a non-commercial Creative Commons license, I consider it a natural continuation or interpretation of my initial design, taking into account different user needs. Many thanks to Tony D for his generous sharing and video tutorials. In this iteration, I've added an attachment point on top with a flexible shape, allowing for easy card insertion while keeping the cards secure in place. To enhance functionality, I've also included a covering shape at the bottom to prevent cards from falling out. The items shown in the picture were printed using PLA filament with the following settings: layer thickness of 0.4mm, Hilbert curve top and bottom fill pattern, density of 40%, and generate support for optimal results (print time: 0h27'). Additionally, I've included support for removing the covering shape after printing.
