Carcassonne: King & Scout Expansion
thingiverse
Another Carcassonne Expansion: King and Scout This expansion packs a punch, introducing five new tiles that will shake up your game. One of these tiles is the four-sided city, a masterpiece comprising two separate cities connected by a bridge. The real showstoppers in this set are the King and Robber Baron tiles. The king tile sits patiently at the side of the board until someone completes a city, at which point they claim it as their own. Whoever holds the king when the game ends scores points for every completed city on the board. The Robber Baron tile follows suit, waiting at the edge of the board until a road is completed. The player who holds the Baron earns points for each road that makes up the game board. I'm thrilled to share this expansion with you and look forward to releasing more in the future. Be sure to stay tuned for "The Games Quarterly Expansion," as well as "Abbey and Mayor," both of which are on their way soon. A huge thank you goes out to ravix and jfpion for creating the original pieces that inspired me, and to dutchmogul for sharing the "Wardar, Lord of the Porcelain Throne," from which I sourced the king tile. Similarly, I'd like to express my gratitude to stockto for providing the "Catan Robber" template, which served as inspiration for the Robber Baron tile. 04/04/16 Update The WIP has been removed, and I'm pleased with the final result - the King is now printed and has proven sturdy enough. Print Settings: For most tiles, I recommend printing at 20% infill, but due to the castle walls and king's waistline, I suggest using 70% or more for the Robber King tile. For the double city with two road ends, consider a 50-70% infill to avoid the corner pillar from breaking off.
