Carburetor airbox (air filter holder) for motorized bicycle
thingiverse
My bike frame isn't built for a motor, but I managed to squeeze one in anyway. As a result, the carburetor doesn't fit properly without hitting the seat post. In my previous motor project, I resolved this issue by purchasing a 45-degree intake manifold that extended the carburetor slightly outward. Unfortunately, this part wouldn't fit on my current motor, so I decided to create a smaller airbox to avoid buying another component. This solution works fantastically! The airflow is much improved compared to the original setup, and the air filter remains in place as before. To fabricate this custom airbox, I used PETG material for 3D printing.
