
Carbonoid's silicone sleeve casting mold for J-Head hot-ends

Craft your own silicone sleeves using a 3D printable mold for J-Head hotends' heater cartridges. The provided STL molds include options such as: 0) two casting molds with the heater cartridge entering from either 4 sides on the right or 2 left and 2 right; 1) a generic J-Head with no thermistor wire cutouts; 2) a generic J-Head MK V with heater and cutout for thermistor; 3) a generic J-Head MK 8 with heater and axial thermistor cutout; and 4) an STL model of the silicone sleeve. Additionally, a small cup is included for mixing the silicone casting slip. Assemble your molds using 4 x M3 x 20 mm screws, 4 x M3 washers DIN 9021, and 4 x M3 threaded brass inserts, along with a single M4 x 50 mm screw for extracting the mold. Refer to the pictures for guidance on assembly. To use, mix 11g of each silicone component in the provided cup, totaling 22g of silicone for casting.
