Carbonite Han Solo
thingiverse
A remix of LucidPsykosis' Han Solo Minifig. Numerous tweaks were implemented to improve its design and functionality: The model has been resized to perfectly fit 1.5-inch minifigs, making it ideal for any collection. To enhance the overall appearance and feel, I added substantial details such as click-in handles that securely fasten onto a minifig's hand, a meticulously designed texture featuring a realistic face, shirt, and carbonite detailing. In order to maintain the model's stability, boot bottoms were almost completely filled in, preventing an unpleasant undercut from forming. The sides of the model underwent subtle trimming to perfectly complement the intricate details on the carbonite base. The built-in supports for the handles ensure exceptional structural integrity during printing, guaranteeing that they remain stable and robust even after removal from the model. I also incorporated pegboard holes into the back of the design. Although not fully optimized, a single peg can still fit snugly into place, making it easy to showcase Han as he's 'hovering' on Jabba's wall. This remix has successfully transformed the minifig into a highly functional display piece. How I Designed This: Utilizing Tinkercad with ease and patience led to this impressive design.
