Carbon Ultralight Tent Peg (only 6 g)
thingiverse
So after several rounds, here's my take on truly ultralight carbon tent pegs. At only 6 grams per piece, they're surprisingly robust - more so than many commercial ultralight tent pegs I've used - and the minimalistic design takes up very little space in your backpack. Very fast and easy to print. Ideally use carbon filament if you have it (it looks great but doesn't add much strength, so PLA or ABS will do just fine). I've added small caps (optional) that you can attach with a drop of glue. Print the caps in your favorite bright color to find them easily when packing up in the morning. I print my tent pegs with 75% infill using a strong pattern like cubic, but reducing the infill percentage can save even more weight. The STL is for 140 mm (my go-to length) and 7.5 mm diameter, but you can scale it to any size you need.
