Carbon Nucleus Model

The blue neutrons and white protons that comprise carbon 12 are arranged in a lattice known as the Face Armored Cubic. Visit my paper published in the Journal of Nuclear Physics, March, 2019 for further information. In the Blender file, twelve spheres represent the carbon 12 isotope, with two protons situated at its core, much like two electrons occupying the inner shell of C-12. Note: The spheres are not fused together. To create a solid model that can be printed using a three-dimensional printer, they must overlap more.
