Here is the text you requested: I am really excited about this tricopter design I came up with while wondering how affordable a tri-copter could possibly be. The idea was to make it 250 size (the diameter of a circle through motor centers), so specs between this and 250 size mini- quads would be identical. Important note: Keep in mind that I haven't built this yet, as I don't have access to a 3d printer and I'm still clueless about how it handles. If you decide to build this, please let me know how it goes and how it flies! Assuming ideal conditions and taking into account the chosen parts, here are some calculated specs: Maximum speed: approximately 72mph (but remember, air is not a perfect fluid so it won't go that fast) Estimated flight time: between 7-15 minutes, which varies with your flight style. Here's what I had in mind for the design components: Motors (3) - I'd recommend going with quality stuff on this Electronic Speed Controllers (3) Flight Controller - This would be the Naze32 Flight controller in its Unsoldered form Servo Battery Receiver ---I personally love the inexpensive receiver because my remote is just that affordable Concerning the propellers, get a few extras, as they're so cheap you might as well pick some up... If you are like me, you'll definitely be needing them Propellers CCW (Counter Clockwise) Propellers CW You will also need to purchase: A Carbon Fiber Plate A 10mm x 10mm x 750mm long square carbon fiber tube A round hole in the middle of it is important.
