The STL is designed for a fan with 50 mm between holes. The filter used is Duratool as outlined in this datasheet: https://www.farnell.com/datasheets/2702186.pdf. Cut the filter to match the slides in each of the four filter sections. In Moai, four 3 mm holes are drilled into the "middle plate with hole for vat holder," which fits just to the right of the Z drive behind the vat. This matches the fan perfectly and requires a 3 mm threaded rod. The fan is set to half the voltage as described, resulting in less noise and less wear on filters. OpenScad definitions are also supplied, making it possible to match other fan sizes or adapt this design for other applications, such as soldering fume extractors.
