This is my version of an activated carbon filter for the Snapmaker. Since I use the Snapmaker indoors and the laser produces smoke I need a filter for clean air. For this I designed the following parts and built an activated carbon filter out of it. It is needed additionally: - HT-pipe with maintenance opening DN90 - perforated plate or grid 1mm thick - 2x PC fan (Arctic P12 PWM PST) - Filter cloth (for vacuum cleaner) - activated carbon (e.g. 3mm pellets) - some screws and nuts - some hot glue - a power supply for the fans (I use a USB StepUp converter to get 12V) The building instructions are relatively simple and can be seen in the photos. The individual parts are printed out and placed on or in the pipe. The activated carbon is filled in through the maintenance opening. For the fans, the correct installation with regard to the air flow must be ensured.
