Carbon filter adaptor for Flashforge Dreamer
cults3d
I give you a unique way to repurpose any kitchen aspirator's carbon filter for cleaning your 3D printer's exhaust system. Simply purchase the exact same filter, as shown in the attached image, and then download, print, and assemble all its components. Alternatively, if you can't find the specific filter, you can use parts one and two to create an adapter that fits any filter you have on hand. Make sure to print part one first and check your dimensions carefully before scaling up part two in your slicer according to your filament's shrinkage rate. I used PLA for part one, so there was no shrinkage at all, but when printing part two with ABS, I had to scale the dimensions up by 1% due to its inherent shrinkage properties. Assembling parts two and three will require some careful gluing. Additionally, you'll need eight 4x30 mm bolts to attach part one securely to your printer.
