Carbon Active Filter Housing

thingiverse

This versatile filter housing employs a standard 40mm fan, identical to those used in many extruders. Simply fill the container with an active carbon filter of the sponge type, then attach the fan using 3mm screws on top, directing airflow toward the container. The fan can be easily powered from most printers' 12V power supply. This setup proves to be a good and practical solution for ABS printing within closed environments as well as a general air purifier for welding and other applications.
