Carbix Zero Turtlefin mounts directly on the top plate, offering two versatile attachment options. You can secure it using one zip tie around the middle bar or two zip ties positioned at the front of the top plate for added stability. For optimal performance, we recommend printing the Turtlefin with a 50% infill in PLA material. This balance between strength and weight provides an excellent foundation for the device's functionality. Alternatively, you can opt to print the Turtlefin using TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) with a 70% infill. This material combination offers enhanced flexibility while maintaining sufficient structural integrity. The antenna mount itself is also suitable for printing in TPU with a 70% infill, ensuring it can withstand various environmental conditions and maintain its shape over time.
