Hey, don't forget to turn on those HD textures. This Carbine Cartridge Box is a well-worn but exceptionally fine original example of the classic leather gear carried by Federal cavalry during the Civil War. I created this for the guys at Flying Squirrel Entertainment, who are currently working on a game called Battle Cry of Freedom. The end result had to be as detailed as possible to match the originals from that time period, so I paid close attention to many small details in their correct positions. I really appreciate their eye for detail. This was a fun project to work on. It's been a while since I've done this kind of modeling; I'm primarily an animator, so I had to get back up to speed with the current standards. For this project, I decided to use Blender as my modeling tool and Substance Painter for creating my textures. I think the result came out really well. Modeled in Blender Baked mostly in Painter - got better results for the wood part from Toolbag Painted in Substance Painter Rendered in Toolbag
