I had a broken carburetor knob on my vintage 1949 Evinrude Sportsman model 4425. I soon realized that creating a replica was probably the easier option than searching for a replacement part. I decided to post this information in case anyone else owns one of these small engines and is looking for a knob, since it controls both the mixture and choke simultaneously, making it tricky to operate without this essential component. Note: The set screw hole on my design is intentionally slightly undersized, allowing you to drill and tap it to match your specific set screw.
