Caravan Shower Bi-Fold Door Clip
prusaprinters
On our touring caravan, the bi-fold shower door has a little "latch" that holds it open during towing, but it suffers with the problem that if the route is a little rough, one half of the bi-fold door is loose enough to move about and then force the little "latch" to un-latch, then the whole door is free to flap about with every bump and sway of the caravan.(see the last photo for how the doors separate to force the "latch") So I designed a little clip that would sit over the top of the folded bi-fold doors and keep them locked together. This prevents the doors from moving apart, and also prevents the movement that can force the little wall-mounted "latch" to open. Be sure to print it in the upright state, ie as you look directly down at the build plate, the printer is printing out a similar shape to the letter "M". Printing it in this way ensures the maximum strength of the print is in the plane of holding the doors together.
