I am making a wagon out of 3mm MDF. My daughter inspired me to create this as an addition to her toy collection - she's six years old and gave me detailed instructions on what she wanted. This wagon is designed to work in conjunction with the horse I also made, which can be found in my previous post. The top of the wagon opens up, and it will have a second floor where you can place a bed for her doll. The model is still unfinished, so feel free to add your own improvements as you see fit - just start by finishing the chimneys, adding stairs to the second floor, some external stairs, and ornaments. You'll get there eventually. To make it easier to extract the furniture and other details, I used magnets to secure them in place. The second floor is also attached with magnets so that it can be quickly disassembled if needed. I would love to hear any suggestions you may have - please share them! The file containing all the pieces of the wagon in SVG format is available for download, along with some additional modified parts that weren't used. Many of these pieces are glued together to give a greater sense of depth, and they're all made from 3mm MDF. I painted the wagon using an airbrush and non-toxic paints.
