Caracalla at The Lapidarium, Alba Iulia
myminifactory
Caracalla was a widely recognized nickname for Marcus Aurelius Severus Antoninus Augustus, the Roman emperor who ruled from 198-217 AD. As the eldest son of Septimius Severus, Caracalla co-reigned with his father from 198 until Severus' death in 211. Following Severus' passing, Caracalla briefly shared power with his younger brother Geta before ordering Geta's assassination later that same year. Caracalla is commonly regarded as one of the most infamous and detested emperors due to the widespread massacres and persecutions he orchestrated throughout the Empire.
