This sliding shade is designed to attach onto your vehicle's sun visor for additional sunlight blocking when the built-in visor falls short. The "slide" component can be made using a 3D printer or milled from 6mm sheet material, while the "back" and "shade" parts are best cut from 3mm dark-tinted translucent polycarbonate using a laser cutter, water-jet cutter, or manual cutting tools. Assemble the slide to the back with pop rivets (8 of them) and ensure they're gently flattened to avoid damaging your sun visor's fabric or vinyl. Slide the shade into its designated slot and secure it to your sun visor using zip ties or straps up to 15mm wide, passing these through the corner slots on the assembly. The provided zip file contains all necessary parts, assembly drawings, and files in SolidWorks 2009 format.
