I got tired of my magnet vent clip constantly falling out, so I designed and printed this custom-made vent clip that perfectly fits my car and phone. The likelihood of anyone having the same combination is extremely low, but I'll just shrug it off. This vent clip was specifically designed to fit on Audi A4 B5s from 1998 to 2001. It's available for download under a Creative Commons license, along with the SolidWorks SLDPRT files. My last print had some issues with the connecting tabs being loose. I've since made adjustments in the model, but I didn't want to start another four-hour print just to find out if it works. Luckily, a heat gun helped tighten up the fit. Here are my print settings: Printer: Hictop Prusa i3 Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: 0.2mm for the clip and 0.15mm for the holder. Infill: 20%
