CAR TRUNK NET HOOKS

CAR TRUNK NET HOOKS

thingiverse

Wanted a cargo net for my car trunk, but the net didn't come with mounting hooks. So I designed and made my own, patterning it after the one in my Jeep. The design can be scaled to fit any configuration needed. In the bottom of the hook is a pilot hole for drilling to the desired depth and threading a screw or other fastener. Since my trunk's side panels are rigid, I used a panhead Phillips sheet metal screw with a fender washer from behind the panel to secure the hook in place. Print Settings: Printer: FFCP Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.02 Notes: Black ABS, 100% fill, 235° extrude temperature, 100° plate temperature. After printing, remove any supports and clean up burrs to prevent fraying of the net hooks. I designed this project using TurboCad.
