I made an adjustable sun visor extender for my short wife to use when the sun is low in the sky, creating a shaded area for her face. It has clips that slide onto a frame and the visor is easily adjustable in precise steps. Measuring 10 inches long and 5 inches high, the clips are relatively large but sturdy and will hold firmly in place as I tested initially. Two small holes are drilled into the adjustor arm to thread a loop of string or a piece of filament through for easy removal when it becomes stuck.
