To accommodate my 6.5-inch car speakers in the rear 6x9 brackets of my Mazda Protege, I created a custom adapter. This solution should also work for other vehicles. To prevent rattling, I utilized foam tape from Home Depot and fastened the speaker using four 1-inch bolts with nuts and washers. The plate was attached to the speaker. For printing, I used PLA due to limited resources; ABS may be a better choice. I printed at 200 microns resolution and with a 40% fill rate.
