I designed a car seat, using 3DS MAX as my platform and rendering it with KEYSHOT 6 in real time. The goal was to create a versatile design that would fit any car, combining luxury and futuristic features while achieving a realistic sporty look. All stitches were carefully placed to enhance the sense of sportiness while maintaining an air of luxury, thanks to the leather used throughout. Each color added would result in a stunning visual appearance. With full control over this unique seat design, I didn't even consider optimizing for polycount or vertices at first glance – until it was brought up later in pictures that were processed with turbo smooth level 2, revealing: • 226546 polygons and • 196983 vertices These counts could be reduced further if needed, ultimately relying on personal preference. When creating new models going forward, I will continue to utilize real measurements taken from high-performance sports cars, ensuring precise fitment in any vehicle desired. The original pricing for this model stemmed directly from the large polygon and vertex count, resulting in a more intricate stitching process required.
