It's always been a frustrating chore to tighten those u-bolt clamp wing-nut contraptions when securing my roof rack, as there's no straightforward way to use a power drill to get the job done. Today I've had it up to here and designed this u-bolt wing nut socket bit, so now you can utilize a 3/4" socket to drive those wing-nuts into place. Mounting these roof racks should be significantly faster from now on. Two STL files are available, in case there's a need for smaller size wing nuts. By the way... does anyone know the official / correct name for this type of nut?
