Insert 3/4-inch (M5) threads onto an ABS material printer. Place the thread in position, letting the machine print it. Insert a threaded 7/8-inch M5 screw into the material. Secure the rod by using an anchor or an epoxy resin. After sanding the area smooth with fine-grit paper, immerse the component into acetone for at least four hours before the surface is fully hardened and ready for use.
