This is a total remake of a highly sought-after car Remote Transmitter Cover. I had too many problems with mine, so I created an improved unit that houses the PCB & battery better. If your model varies in size, there's sufficient documentation and logic to modify it for your specific unit size. *Brand Names (also-known-as, or resemble): Hornet, Valet, Automate, Equalizer, Pro Guard, Python Sidewinder, Wasp, Viper, etc... *Parts: There are 5 parts: Bottom case, Top cover, button plate, and two internal button plugs. *Part to retain from old unit: Screw Original split ring with chain. *What you'll need to complete this project: A new slightly larger Split Ring. Increasing the size of the key-chain holder makes the unit stronger. The original metal ring was just too small. Glue (for your type of Plastic) The internal buttons are designed to snap onto the button structure plate, but gluing them affixes them into place permanently. *What if: The cover is designed to be a 'perfect fix.' Although it might not fit correctly at first, it has been designed to be very snug. Print Settings Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 / Cocoon Create Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 Infill: Solid Fill Notes: Supports: Yes, Platform with Brim. (I used 10mm) Fill Density: 25% or higher % How I Designed This OpenSCAD Started with new buttons and then continued to create a whole new unit from scratch. A simple cover and button replacement wouldn't fit correctly, so I designed a new unit from the ground up.
