Car Plastic Bag Trash Holder - For Sleeve Behind Passenger's Seat
thingiverse
A while ago, I looked for a plastic bag holder for trash but all I could find were things that clip onto the back of the passenger's headrest. The way they looked and worked didn't appeal to me - full bags would likely be noisy when moving, and hard to reach. So, I made this solution. It rests on top of the sleeve some cars have behind the passenger's seat so the driver can easily reach behind and put trash in it. This project was created for personal use, but I've uploaded it in case anyone else wants to use it. It isn't perfect, so I included the Fusion 360 project file for anyone who wants to modify it. Print settings don't really matter as long as some infill is used because even when full, it won't be handling a lot of weight. I recommend printing it in the provided orientation and if your bed is big enough you can print the pieces side by side. Joining the pieces requires no special care since there isn't any print tolerance on the parts that fit together snugly. If you have trouble getting them to fit, just try sanding it down a little.
