Car Phone Holder For Dashboard

Car phone holder for dashboard: The holder can securely grip any phone with a width of 75 mm to 85 mm. Hardware: I sourced all the necessary hardware from Home Depot. • 7 x #6 1/2in screws • 2 x 5 mm by 20 mm springs (these came in an assorted box of springs) Printing: Using a UV and heat resistant plastic is highly recommended for printing the holder, such as ABS or PETG. I included an image showing the correct orientation for each part. Body1 should be printed with supports under the large circle at the bottom. The rest can be printed without any additional supports. To ensure a snug fit for the ball joint, scale down Stand2 by 0.5% to 1%. I used 15% triangular infill and 0.2mm layer height on all parts. Assembly/Mounting: Assembly is relatively straightforward (see images). A vise or clamp is required to push the ball joints into each other. Adding a few drops of lubricant can help the ball joint move smoothly. I used silicone oil, but any plastic lubricant will work. You'll need 8 Pin1 for Arm1 and Arm1_MIR (4 for each arm). The pins go into the holes on the arms and protrude about 1mm on each side. Double-sided tape is ideal for attaching the holder to your dashboard. https://www.amazon.com/Gorilla-6065001-Tough-Mounting-Double-Sided/dp/B00OXVG9FW/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1534282713&sr=8-4&keywords=double+sided+tape
