Hello, Since existing mobile phone cradle solutions don't meet my expectations, I've designed one myself. My inspiration came from a cup holder that can be screwed into the downtube of a bike frame. The original screws are reusable. I'm relying on past experience to select a suitable mobile phone holder for this project. A HR-Design model is my choice, which can be attached using an adapter or double-sided adhesive tape. This item costs around 10€ and can be purchased on Amazon. There are two methods to secure the adapter plate: 1. Insert M4 threads into pre-drilled holes. 2. Place M4 nuts in a recess on the back of the adapter. A tab under the mobile phone holder provides a convenient place to hang an AUX cable or charging cable, keeping them organized and out of the way. For this project, I'll use a material with higher heat resistance than PLA, such as PETG, ABS, or ASA. This is necessary because summer temperatures inside a vehicle can reach 66°C or more.
