Car or wall mount gripping smartphone holder system

This is a "gripping" smartphone holder that can be mounted in a car or to a wall, depending on the attachment used. The gripping action is achieved with a rubber band. Some features / design goals include: One handed insertion of phone: the back plates have a locking mechanism so they won't slide off accidentally. Simply slide the top edge of the phone in and up and then seat the bottom of the phone in the holder. One holder, multiple mounting options: mount to wall, car vent or CD slot. Other attachments can be created and swapped out. No support needed for any part. To print the CD Slot attachment, use a raft and print at an angle without supports. This ensures a smooth finish on the holder. Swapping mounting attachments is easy: pinch the arches on the back plates to slide them off of the holder. When you slide in a new back plate, it will click into place with a satisfying sound. The wall mount was designed for a friend who needed to attach it to a camper (RV). 3M command strips work well for this purpose. When attaching the threaded nut, make sure it screws on straight and do not cross thread. Tightening the nut stiffens the holder's position, so adjust the nut accordingly. The threaded nut may be stiff at first, but working it on and off a few times will loosen it up and make it work just fine. The CD mount has been remixed to work with this mounting system. One version prints without supports, while the other requires support. Your option depends on your printer settings. Print Settings: Printer: Flux 3D Delta Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 20% Notes: No rafts or supports needed with the exception of the CD mount. Print the CD mount as shown in the picture on the build plate and use a raft only. No support needed at all.
