People usually adjust their video cam car mirror holder/bracket to suit their situation. I have added a sketch-up file so that you can alter the position of the holes, etc. There's one catch: you'll need to drill into the mirror arm. When doing this, make sure the drill bit doesn't hit the car windscreen. This project is actually very necessary in Australia during the summer, where it gets extremely hot and suction devices on glass will fail quite quickly.
