I modeled these centaurs from an old vintage car mascot picture, which can be viewed online at https://www.1stdibs.co.uk/furniture/decorative-objects/sculptures/centauride-sculpture-french-art-deco-bronze-car-mascot-sculpture-darel-1925/id-f_2210892/. You'll have to excuse the high poly count, as this was all done in ZBrush. I have instructions on how to anneal a model for hot days on top of a hot car bonnet available online at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3833223. After annealing, I glued the base and centaurs together with epoxy glue. Then I sanded, applied bogging, painted, added glitter, and used vanishing to finish them off. I pulled some magnets out of an old mechanical hard drive and glued them in place. If you want to use different magnets, you can use the original base and cut a recess for them yourself – ZBrush is great at doing booleans on objects. Cheers!
