grabcad
This is my first ever design, which I made for my Project in Basics of Machine Construction class. The design document is over 40 pages long, inlucing things like kinematic chain mobility calculations, stress models, material choice based on Ashby's method and compatibility with other materials (to avoid corrosion etc.), and the optimization of the geometrical dimensions of various parts. On top of that, there are about 12 drawings I made. They have some errors in them, which I'm going to fix as soon as I'm done with exams.
It's not the most well designed car jack, but I'm still just a student and I did my best, so I'm proud of my car jack. :) The materials in the Inventor model are not necessarily the materials I used in the design document since I only needed the Inventor model to create the drawings and calculate masses.
If there are some models missing, let me know, please, so that I can upload them.
