My Märklin 4612 car transporter has one major drawback - the cars on its lower deck keep rolling all over the place. To overcome this problem, I built an adapter that fits snugly into the car transporter without any need for glue and secures the wheels of the cars in two slots, effectively keeping them from moving around. Picture 1 shows a pair of holders with cars safely inside the Märklin 4612 car transporter, tilted to demonstrate how well they stay put. Picture 2 displays the holder with its two slots where the wheels of each car will be placed to keep everything stable and secure.
