Car Floor Mat Protector

The driver's side car floor mat tends to wear out first, inevitably. When a hole appears in the mat, you'll have to purchase an entire new set while the other three mats may still look pristine. I've created a protector that can be printed and glued over the worn-out patch. You can print this design again if needed. In my experimentation with various filaments, I found that a tough material is essential so the teardrop plate doesn't break off. The best filament I've used for several months now is flexible TPU. It boasts excellent layer bonding and flexes slightly under stress, making it ideal for this model. I believe a flexible filament like TPE or TPU is the best option to use for this design, as any other material may cause the teardrop plate to break off over time. Please thoroughly test this solution before driving and always prioritize your safety.
