This is a replacement component for the Nissan Primera P12's front left (driver's side) door lock. My parents' vehicle has a widespread issue with faulty door locks throughout its entire model run. The problematic part within the lock frequently breaks, leading to loud noises and eventually, a complete loss of functionality. Rather than purchasing an entirely new and costly door lock, I have chosen to replace only the faulty component. Two design variations were created: one features an exact replica of the original part found in the stock door lock, while the second boasts a reinforced version. This enhanced component includes additional support on its sides, designed to minimize the risk of failure. Both designs ensure a precise fit within the door lock. For successful printing, ABS or similar high-temperature-resistant materials combined with PVA as a support material are recommended. Given the part's relatively small size, high precision is essential to guarantee proper integration and operation with the door lock.
