Car battery bracket to hold shorter 74Ah battery instead of longer - 100Ah one
thingiverse
I replaced my old car battery with a brand new one that seemed shorter than the original, so I designed and printed a custom bracket to hold it securely in place. To add a personal touch, I decided to glue on a Mercedes logo, which I found online at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:712513/#files. Here are my print settings: Printer: Mamba3D Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.295 mm Infill: 20% Notes: I printed the bracket without supports or rafts at 210°C in black PLA, using a unique "Mickey mouse ears" design to prevent curling. After printing, I need to carefully cut off these temporary supports.
